Dino Lingo

Dino Lingo is an educational program, children can use to learn a language through imagination with fun cartoons, DVD's, CD's, books, posters, games, songs, and flash cards. I did not receive this DVD in my Mom Voxbox, but I did let my children access the link provided by Influenster. My children enjoyed watching the little Dino speak in Spanish and other languages such as Polish, Italian, and Chinese. I think this is one of the best tool's out there to help children learn a new language. The program was fun and colorful and even kept my son with ADHD entertained (YES, THAT A BIG WOW). I think I will purchase this program in Spanish due to the fact that I feel it is very important for children to be bilingual in today's society. My three years old's also enjoyed watching the demo online. Overall I think this is a great product and I will recommend it to my friends with children. You can learn more about this program at www.dinolingo.com.

The Original Dish Drying Mat

Not to long ago I used kitchen towels under my dish drainer then I bought a plastic mat that drained into the sink. Soap scum heaven. I received one of these from Influenster to test, and really love it. It holds a lot of water (the package says they hold 4 times their weight) -- I don't know if the package is correct but they've held every drop of water from my dishes. I  have a dishwasher, but with a family of six there's a lot of dishes to be done  -- and I do a lot of cooking everyday -- resulting in a lot of dishes that all at once don't fit in the dishwasher. One mat has handled the load.

I usually leave the mat and and drainer on my counter. The mat blends in with the counter and wouldn't be noticeable except for the brown trim. If the mat gets very wet I recommend replacing it as the mats take quite awhile to dry if they get very wet. (Very wet means just that. A normal load of dishes doesn't make the mat really, really wet. If you cook all day as I do on a weekend the mat gets very wet after several large dish-washing sessions.)

One caveat -- these are relatively small mats. I was going to use my wooden dish rack with the mat but the rack was too big for the mat. Fortunately the mat is the perfect size for my metal dish drainer. Check the dimensions of your drainer before purchasing. These mats are also great to put under a dog bowl in you have a large dog that makes a mess drinking water.

I am Impressed by imPRESS Press On Manicure

I remember as a little girl I sneak into my moms Lee Press On nails. Yes, the super glue and all. When I first received the imPress Press On Manicure, by Broadway nails, from Influenster I thought to myself I love this color, but I do not want to ruin my real nails with super glue, not only is super messy I remember gluing my figures together a few times! I was fascinated to discover that their was no super glue involved. Actually the only thing you had to do was pull of a little strip of plastic and apply. It took me approximately 5 minutes to apply the manicure to MY MOM'S HAND! Yes ladies, as much as I wanted to use this product my natural nails were too long for the length of the imPRESS nail's I received. She is a nurse and wore them to work and they lasted all week long, which impressed me due to her multiple hand washes each day. I finally broke down and had to buy some. Yes, I filed my nails to make them fit! I know you're thinking why in the world would you do that? Why not just paint your own nails? Well, I am a perfectionist and there's no way I could paint my nails as perfect as these. Plus with my nail length they lasted even long because they couldn't just pop off; they had support behind them. I will definitely be purchasing these again. This nail's come in 36 different colors and patterns and are much cheaper than going to a salon. As a mother of four children, I don't have the time for that. Just Press and Go!!!

You can find imPress Manicure at CVS, Rite Aid, Duane Reade, KMart, Walgreens, Walmart and more. For a full list of online and in-store retailers, visit imPressManicure.com, where you can download an exclusive coupon and virtually try on all the colors and patterns!
Suggested retail price: $5.99 for colors and $7.99 for patterns

The Many Uses of Ivory

I have been using Ivory soap since I was a child and I love it as much now as I did back then!! When I was a little girl and we would spend the weekends on the lake this is the soap my mom would buy for us to take. I love the fact that my children cant "lose" the bar of soap at the bottom of the tub, because its so pure (99.44%) it floats. The fact that it is so pure and natural is a major perk for me and besides just cleaning the body it has a plethora of other uses.  I have used it on grease stains on my clothes, a face wash, and most recently used it to make homemade laundry detergent--that works GREAT!!! I also use Ivory to clean my makeup brushes, and it works like a charm. It gets everything so clean and feeling fresh that I keep going back to it. I used Ivory on my children when they get insect bites or sunburn because it is gentle enough that it does not agitate their skin/skin conditions.  I feel like Ivory soap is a great brand, over all soap and it is always priced very reasonable.

Find your Ivory now at your nearest retailer, including stores such as Walmart and Target as well as any major grocery, dollar and drug store.  A 10-pack of Ivory bar soap retails for around  $4.49 (bath bar size).

Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies

Quaker Soft Baked cookies are awesomely delicious. I am not to fond of oatmeal and I absolutely dislike raisins. I opened this cookie to taste and was surely going to hand it over to my husband to finish (WRONG)! I absolutely loved this cookie. I was not dry like I figured it would be and it really was soft and moist. The cookie was so good that I even enjoyed the taste of the raisins. I have purchased two boxes of Quakers Soft Baked Cookies since. I bought the Oatmeal chocolate chip and another box on oatmeal RAISINS (I know crazy right)! One bite of this soft squishy goodness will have you coming back for more, and the great thing about it is they aren't unhealthy for you. This cookie is the way I will enjoy oatmeal and raisins for now on.

Enjoy chewy, soft-baked cookies in a family-favorite flavor! With wholesome Quaker Oats and delicious raisins, you’ll never remember they came from our kitchen instead of yours.
